Dear Lindsey Families,
The First Quarter of the School year has come to an end and our report cards are available through the Infinite Campus Portal. Teachers will discuss report cards and answer any questions you may have at conferences. We are pleased with the high level of learning and growth that our students have accomplished. Please note that Specials (Art, Music, and Physical Education) teachers will provide grades at the semesters (end of the 2nd and 4th quarters).
On Tuesday, October 31, we will have our annual Halloween Parade at 9:15 am. Our classroom parties will follow from 9:45 - 10:15 am. (See the Halloween costume guidelines below.)
Reminder that Parent/Teacher conferences are on November 2-3. There is no school for Elementary students only on Friday, November 3.
There are several flyers below with upcoming events and information. Please be sure to give them a look!
Thank you for your ongoing support of Lindsey Elementary School.
Sincerely,
Melissa Becerra, Principal

Social Media Night at Lindsey Elementary
Please SAVE THE DATE: Monday, 11/6, at 6:00 pm - There will be an informative meeting about social media, digital safety, and the impact it has on students. This has been arranged due to an increase in students coming to school talking about content on social media. This program is being planned closely with our SSO, Officer Sweet. The presenter, Investigator Warner, a colleague of Officer Sweet, currently works for the Geauga Prosecutor’s Office. Investigator Warner has over 20 years of experience investigating child exploitation. Additionally, he has worked for Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Therefore, Investigator Warner has a deep knowledge of this topic – and we are delighted for him to share his knowledge with our families and students.
The presentation is for adults only, which is why we'll provide childcare for ages 4 and up. High schoolers will supervise a showing of a video (TBD) and calming activities (coloring, drawing, etc) in the Gym. If you wish to take advantage of this, please complete this form by 11/2/23 so we know how many students to plan for and how many volunteers to coordinate. Childcare form:
