Lindsey Elementary News
Dear Lindsey Families,
These major events happened last week at Lindsey: Picture Day, Popcorn Day, and Laps for Lindsey. Thank you to the PTO for providing tasty popcorn to our students!
Laps for Lindsey generated an amazing amount of donations. The PTO surpassed their goal of $19,000 with a grand total of $23,790.92! Thank you to the PTO volunteers, especially the Bragg Family, for organizing the event! Thank you to all of our Lindsey families for supporting our school!
The MAP family reports will be sent home in about a week with your child. Be sure to check their backpack!
Classroom teachers will be emailing links soon to sign up for October conferences, which will be in-person this year.

Congratulations to all of the individual prize winners. Thank you for supporting the PTO!
State required vision and hearing screenings will be completed this week. All 3rd, 5th, and new students will be screened unless a parent provides a letter of exemption.
We will have Chesterland Family Eyecare and Auburn Career Center Nursing students assisting our clinic staff with screenings.
If there are any concerns about your child's vision or hearing you will receive a referral notice. If you receive a notice please have your child seen by a physician and return the completed form to the school health office.

Monday Munchies is a great way to show our appreciation for our Lindsey Elementary teachers and staff. We're asking YOU to provide 3-4 dozen treats. Decadent or nutritious, homemade or purchased with love, the choice is yours. Thank you for making Mondays a little more enjoyable!
