"Here Comes the Bus"
Attention West G parents/guardians of school bus riders - the "Here Comes the Bus" mobile app designed to provide real-time tracking and updates for school bus transportation is now live for our district. If you have not already downloaded the app, follow the instructions below.
This program is applicable only to West Geauga students assigned a transportation schedule and who ride consistently to or from any of our four buildings. To use the app, you need your child’s six digit student number that can be found on Infinite Campus and our district code, which is 87371. If you have more than one child, you will need to add each student number.

Hello, Westwood Families!
During the week of February 3 - 7, the American School Counselor Association recognizes National School Counseling Week. I am proud to be the school counselor at Westwood Elementary!
My responsibilities include helping your students develop the skills to be successful in school and life, including academics, social-emotional learning, and life readiness. One of my priorities is for West Geauga’s students to feel like they are important members of our school community and my personal goal is to know the names of all students before the end of the school year! Visiting classrooms for lessons, small groups, and individual conversations are all ways I am working to achieve this goal. Collaborating with families, teachers, and other school staff is an important component of my responsibilities. We are better together!

Bowling With Boys returns Sunday, February 9th from 2:30-5pm at Wickliffe Lanes (a local, family-owned venue). $10/person includes shoe rental and a soft drink. But space is limited - so don't strike out on this deal!

*While you're at it, why not reply and let us know that YOU'LL be the next Bowling With Boys chairperson? This is one of the easiest events of the year to plan! We've already done the leg work by confirming the venue and date. If you can count to six (the number of bowlers permitted per lane), then you're a (bowling) shoo-in!

We're taking a break from meeting in January and will resume with our next PTO Members meeting on Tuesday, February 11th at 6pm at Westwood.
