Thank you to our families who attended our ACE awards this morning. We had over 150 parents, friends, and family members come to support our students! Congratulations to all of our ACE award winners.
There are several exciting activities in the next few weeks. Please note them on the list to the right. Our Gal and Pal Dance is tonight. I hope to see many of you there!
We are also looking forward to our visiting author on February 8th. I you are interested in purchasing any of her work, please see the flyer below.

Hello, Westwood Families!
During the week of February 5 - 9, the American School Counselor Association recognizes National School Counseling Week. I am proud to be the school counselor at Westwood Elementary!
My responsibilities include helping your students develop the skills to be successful in school and life, including academics, social-emotional learning, and life readiness. One of my priorities is for Westwood students to feel like they are important members of our school community and my personal goal is to know the names of all students before the end of the school year! Visiting classrooms for lessons, small groups, and individual conversations are all ways I am working to achieve this goal. Collaborating with families, teachers, and other school staff is an important component of my responsibilities. We are better together!

Scholastic Book Fair
Calling all bookworms! The Scholastic Book Fair returns February 5-7. Without the support of parent volunteers, PTO won't be able to continue offering programming and events such as this for the benefit of our children.
