Hello, Westwood Families!
Wow! These first three weeks flew by!
Over the past few weeks, some of you may have heard the words, “Pax Leader.” Pax Good Behavior Game is an evidenced-based, preventative program implemented to foster peace, productivity, health, and happiness within our building and the community. The PAX program reduces problematic behavior and increases a sense of community. Each classroom created a PAX vision of what they want to see, hear, do, and feel this year. We are very impressed with how our first and second grade students have continued this program and our kindergarten students are catching on!
September is Attendance Awareness Month! Your students bring so much joy to our building. Thank you for all you do to support your students being present at school. If you encounter any challenges with maintaining strong attendance feel free to reach out to me or Mrs. Watson. The Westwood staff want to be partners in supporting your child’s school attendance. We are happy to help!
